WEEK 23- WEEK 25

Week 23- Week 25:
The picture below was actually taken yesterday, which was technically the last day of my 24th week. To quote my Mom on Sunday over breakfast, “Wow, you officially look pregnant,” she’s right. There’s no hiding this baby boy under any of my dark blousy tops, scarves or oversized accessories- it won’t stop me from wearing all of the above though:)

Garrett has officially completed the rest of his “daddy classes” so the next class/ info is taking the stork tour at the hospital, we’re doing that tonight. So it will be good to have an idea of what that looks like.

My back is still not doing amazing. We actually went to go see a prenatal chiropractor, and decided against going back. I think I may try acupuncture or physical therapy. I’ve had a bit more energy, so I starting to get on the elliptical more often and lift very small weights – just to keep some sort of muscle.

My back is part of the reason I haven’t been getting the best sleep and so by default, I don’t think Garrett really has either. The other part of it is has to do with using the bathroom all the time. Pregnant woman using the bathroom 24/7?? Shocking, I know. Even if I stop drinking water at around 7pm, I am still guaranteed to get up once to use it. This weekend, I got extra thirsty in the evening and had to pay for it “big time”.  I got up 3 times to use the restroom and by 6am I was awake. Needless to say, I was pretty tired that day. I have since invested in some serious concealer! One time I slept through 5am, and it was amazing!

Speaking of sleep, as some of you may know, pregnant woman are notorious for having some crazy and bizarre dreams. Well, last week I dreamt that I was walking around with my pregnant self, and then out of the blue decided I wanted to take the baby out and play with him. So I took him out, and held him in front of me. He opened his eyes and smiled while he looked around. Then I thought it was probably time to put him back, (because that’s what made sense in my dream) so I wondered how I should go about doing that. I asked myself how I did it the last time I took him out to play, and then I woke up….I had to pee. Thankfully- because seriously I do not want to know how my “dream self” was going to put him back in- yikes.

Lastly, my Dad decided to buy Garrett a present. So there is a picture of that below. The baby is now a proud owner of the soon-to-be-released satin baby Giant’s jackets. Garrett was pretty excited, and I have to say, it’s pretty cute. Not just the jacket, but that my Dad thought of the baby (and Garrett) when he saw this special little piece of Giants outerwear. :)

Probably should have set it next to Garrett's Giants jacket to show just how little this one is in comparison, maybe in the next post?
