William is 5 months old today!
This month's beautiful blanket was another gift from my Mama Rosita, aka my Grandmother. She bought it at a children's boutique in Mexico that sells prissy baby items. She knows me so well ;)

Tummy Sleeper
William started the month off by all of a sudden flipping over from back to tummy. He was wanting to sleep on his tummy, which really caught Garrett and I by surprise since he started doing it literally overnight. We worried he wasn't ready to sleep in that position, but the Pediatrician assured us his head/neck muscles were strong enough where he could lift up his head up if he couldn't breath, or was uncomfortable. So since then, he sleeps on his tummy...every single night.
Hanging out in his new Halloween hat that uncle Carlos, and aunt Rosa Maria bought him. So cute!
Pumpkin Patch
We went to the pumpkin patch with Williams' cousin Loli, and his cousins who were visiting from Mexico Diego and David. I though it would be fun if he went dressed up, but he hated this costume so much that I changed him. I feel like he's looking at me like, "Really?!." I also don't have any pic's of this actual pumpkin patch visit, since he was asleep in the baby carrier practically the entire time. Oh well.
This is what he ended up wearing to the pumpkin patch... much happier.

Monica's Baby Shower
Our friends Monica and Dave are expecting baby girl Oliva in December- we are so excited for them! Dave isn't pictured below because he drove his grandmother home after the shower while we were all hanging out, but Rob and Garrett are holding William and Jonas. William is older by only about 6 weeks. It was so fun to finally meet Baby Jonas- what a cutie:)

Pumpkin Patch as a Family
We went back to the pumpkin patch to take family pictures, and Ryan, Jake and Luke came with us. It was a lot of fun! William was in and out of sleep since we went in the morning this time, and as you can see by poor Jake's eyes it was very sunny! We had a great time hanging out with the boys! Can't wait for William to be able to run around with them soon :)
Halloween: Happy Astronaut
Alissa was nice enough to lend William this adorable Astronaut costume. It was much more comfortable that the Winnie- the- Pooh, and ended up being what he wore on Halloween. That is, before he threw up all over it. It was bedtime around that time anyway.

Making fun faces in his toasty hat!
First Solids
The pediatrician gave us the "go" on slowly starting to introduce him to solid foods. We started with some rice cereal. These pictures are from his very first time eating solids. He actually did ok. I think he was ready to start, because he is definitely noticing when I eat, and seems intrigued by the utensils and my huge bottle of water. I have since given him rice cereal twice, and it seemed to slow down his digestion and how often he would go #2. So I just now recently started to give him some again and he's doing just fine. Next up...bananas, avocados, carrots and apples. Pretty much anything I can easily puree and slowly introduce him to.
Other fun pics
Jumping around in his owl hat, and getting ready to run some errands with me in the handsome sweater Grandma Doris bought him.
Couple of fun videos. All are around a minute or shorter.
